Our History

Established in 2008, GCE Contractors Pty Ltd began as a small civil operation supplying a capable workforce to larger civil contractors, to undertake technical aspects of projects. The formative years of the organization established a reputation for high quality work with a strong focus on safety and quality.

2013 signalled the company’s expansion to principal contractor on water authority and council projects, whilst also undertaking larger packages of works for Tier One contractors on large civil and infrastructure projects. In 2013 GCE Contractors Pty Ltd further consolidated its position in the Queensland market with the procurement of several infrastructure projects both as principal contractor and subcontractor. During this period, the business undertook a management restructure and increased its internal capabilities with the addition of several new work crews whilst at the same time, increasing the internal plant fleet.

GCE recently expanded its equipment fleet and labour force to include pipe jacking and tunnelling operations.

GCE Contractors Pty Ltd currently employs over 30 employees, a number which is consistently growing, who are capable of undertaking a wide range of civil contracts. Based in the Brisbane, we predominately operate throughout the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast; however we are also capable of mobilizing to anywhere in Queensland as required on a project by project basis.

Our clientele includes such organizations as Unity Water, Brisbane City Council, Queensland Urban Utilities and Stanley MacAdam to name a few.
